We do not predict earthquakes. Catalogues may be revised and completeness depends on network, magnitude and region. One event does not demonstrate tectonic closure.
A missing point does not prove that a vessel is absent. Completed tracks, maritime notices and operational continuity are considered.
Seismic data are checked automatically. Articles are reviewed when a source changes materially or new official information appears.
Documented corrections are reviewed and incorporated when appropriate without concealing substantial changes.
